Now our Isleta field site in the Santa Fe National Park is part of the "Frog acoustic universe" study. This is a collaboration with Dr. Rachel Page at Smithsonian Tropical Research Institution in which our project manager Dr. Eric Flores is working with as a postdoc. This study now includes sites around Gamboa Research Station in Panama city and the ARGOS company land in Colon. This long term study wants to answer the question of what frogs species are calling, when and where and see if there is temporal and spatial partitioning/overlap of acoustic resources.
We thank our field assistants Bernardo Peña and Vayron De Gracia as well as our field guide Seferino Rodriguez in Santa Fe.
